It was from an article in a recent copy of Textile View on
the African menswear trend that I derived my inspiration for my final major
project. I wanted to attempt a set of designs that I have never looked at
before in order to diversify my portfolio, so I have gathered an extensive
amount of research on both the culture and fashion for African men. I shall be
creating geometric patterns for my designs, with a particular focus on leaves.
